Produced by Brian McTernan, Life Is Not A Waiting Room is Senses Fail’s third studio album and was released on October 7th of 2008. Stylistically, the album is powerful and aggressive, drawing from the signature post-hardcore sound of Senses Fail and also integrating new forms of metal and punk rock. The lyrics cover a myriad of dark and light images and are said to be inspired by lead singer Buddy Neilsen’s real life struggle with depression and alcohol after a tumultuous break-up with his girlfriend. Life Is Not A Waiting Room features the popular tracks “Garden State”, “Lungs Like Gallows” and “Family Tradition”.
